Friday, 13th November, SACPSSA was very pleased to stage its first ever sports carnival outside the metro area of Adelaide.

The Valleys Lifestyle Centre in Clare was the venue for the inaugural “Section Mid North / Yorke Peninsula” SACPSSA Swimming Carnival, with participating schools from Wallaroo, Yorketown, Jamestown, Gladstone and Clare.

The carnival was originally scheduled for late March, but was one of a number of events rescheduled due to covid.

This carnival will now be an ongoing fixture on the SACPSSA carnival calendar, and it is hoped that the number of participant schools will expand in coming years.

Students from Clare, Jamestown and Wallaroo were among those in the post carnival presentation group. Included among them are the SACPSSA carnival team for the carnival: (from left) Kristen Victory, Anna Zoanetti, Darren Elliott, Liz Elliott and Toby Priest.
